Incidentally, the bday wish list for 2012 is already overflowing and she asked me 2 days ago, how far away is my birthday..given the fact that bday was 2 months, 3 weeks ago- a bit of wait for D :)
I guess its apparent by now that D loves her dolls and specifically barbies

I used to love playing with Lego, as a kid, i remember my dad had brought me a set from his deputation @ Libya through Border roads organization. So this year , on her 5th bday, we presented D a lego set
She quite enjoys it and with a little help , made this set, a house and two girls
The 'girl' on the left is D, skipping a rope and the girl on the right is supposed to be her best friend Bhavya
Well the day turned out ok, D and I went to Dominoes for a lunch all by ourselves :) It helps when your daughter mirrors your likes for food, and you get a treat, while taking her out for a treat :)
Barbie cake , second year running, though this time it was white in color
The cake was chocolate truffle and it was YUMMY!!
Hard to believe that the bundle of joy that we were bestowed upon on 26th May 2005 is FIVE YEARS old..
I still remember it was pouring buckets that day in bangalore, I guess among the rainiest days in bangalore
Sharing an old photo of D, we had this enlarged and framed and Nanu / Nani have it mounted on the wall in Hisar
So today, D was up at 5am (she was, I wasnt) , and off to the park with Nanu , Nani for her "morning walk" (read swings)
came back and watched her favorite shows - oggy and the cockroaches (Ughhhhhhhh) and Mickey mouse club house,
trying to get her to bed so that she is fresh for the long day ahead
Have promised to take her to Saphire (a big toy store in bangalore) and she gets to pick what she wants..
will share photos of the party later
obviously had to be pink , thankfully managed to get the cake in pineapple atleast...hate strawberry

Yesterday was D's Third birthday ( though her official recorded DOB is 27/05 , long story...... )
She got showered with gifts from her Dadi, Nani, Buas and the proud parents
